Job DescriptionCarefully read and understand blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the assembly process. Identify and gather the necessary parts and materials from the parts list to ensure all components are available for assembly. Perform tasks such as wire cutting, stripping, labeling, drilling, tapping, and bolting components together, ensuring they are securely fastened. Assemble electrical components such as circuit boards, switches, and connectors. Integrate sub-assemblies into the main assembly, ensuring all parts fit correctly and function as intended. Conduct power tests on assembled units to ensure they meet voltage, amperage, and load specifications. Identify and resolve any issues that arise during testing to ensure the final product is fully functional. Maintain a safe and clean working environment.Essential SkillsProficiency with hand tools and power tools.Basic understanding of electrical systems.Strong mechanical skills.Attention to detail.Ability to follow detailed instructions.Work effectively with a team.Ability to stand for long periods.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Additional Skills & QualificationsIdeally seeking a candidate with at least 4 years of electrical assembly experience or related experience within the industry. Technical Skills: Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, basic understanding of electrical systems, and familiarity with NEC codes.Mechanical Aptitude: Strong mechanical skills to handle various assembly tasks.Attention to Detail: Ability to follow detailed instructions and ensure precision in assembly.Team Collaboration: Work effectively with a team of production specialists, engineers, and field teams.Physical Capability: Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.Work EnvironmentYou will work in a climate-controlled environment alongside four other assembly technicians.Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday Occasional overtime as needed based on project workload Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00
