Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** Perform quality validation testing on all equipment per customer specifications and delivery requirements. Troubleshoot to identify non-conformance issues and communicate necessary repairs. Write reports as required. May be required to work on multiple assignments simultaneously. **Responsibilities** + Safely perform functional testing of all track maintenance equipment using approved test procedures. + Audit assembly to design for internal and external specifications. + Perform troubleshooting on issues found during the testing process. + Communicate completion of final testing of production and prototype machines. + Work with engineering, production, and R&D on problems with the machine build process or machine testing prior to shipment. + Assist with the creation and maintenance of test procedures. + Complete reports on machine testing and defects and provide feedback to Operations, Engineering, and Supply Chain. **Essential Skills** + High School diploma or equivalent. + Training on heavy equipment and measurement tools, including flow meters, pressure gauges, and voltage meters. + Minimum of 5 years of troubleshooting or related experience with heavy equipment. + General mechanical skills, proficient with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic controlled circuits including PLC and CAN-bus systems. + Ability to interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and drawings. + Ability to troubleshoot and solve equipment problems. + Familiarity with Microsoft Word and Excel for reporting purposes. + Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision. + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations. + Effective presentation and communication skills. + Support for continuous improvement efforts. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Ability to read and interpret business documents, technical procedures, governmental regulations, and professional journals. + Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures. + 5+ years of Mechanical Assembly Experience or 5+ years of Testing experience. + 2+ years of Hydraulic Experience. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy the benefits of a union environment with union pay raises and comprehensive benefits. **Work Environment** 1st shift from 8:30am to 5:30pm. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00 Union pay raises of 3% year over year yearly wage increases depending on the department. 401k Health, dental, vision, life, medical paid time off once hired into union **Workplace Type** This is a fully onsite position in OAK CREEK,WI. **Application Deadline** This position will be accepting applications until Jan 28, 2025. **About Aerotek:** We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
