**Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
We are looking for a skilled Assembly Technician who will be responsible for assembling products by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, parts lists, and gathering required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Prepare work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists, and gathering required parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
+ Position parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.
+ Assemble components by examining connections for correct fit and fastening parts and subassemblies.
+ Verify specifications by measuring completed components.
+ Resolve assembly problems by altering dimensions to meet specifications and notifying a supervisor to obtain additional resources.
+ Keep equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer’s instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and calling for repairs.
+ Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
+ Maintain supplies inventory by checking stock levels, anticipating needed supplies, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt of supplies.
+ Conserve resources by using equipment and supplies efficiently to accomplish job results.
**Work Environment**
Candidates will be working in a shop environment along with approximately 20 other team members. The shop is equipped with all necessary tools and materials required for assembly tasks.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hagerstown, Maryland.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00
