**Job Title: Assembly Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled assembly technician who can safely use various types of hand tools, hand-held power tools, automated termination machines, and other electronics manufacturing equipment. The successful candidate will set up, load, perform necessary minor adjustments, and minor maintenance of hand-held and automated manufacturing tools and equipment. Additionally, they will perform inspection/verification of product quality throughout the assembly process to ensure zero defects and package finished and inspected products for shipment. Reading, understanding, and following all assembly documentation each time an assembly is built is crucial. The technician must ensure that the line is being run in strict accordance with the correct revision of assembly documentation.
**Responsibilities**
+ Safely use various types of hand tools, hand-held power tools, automated termination machines, and other electronics manufacturing equipment.
+ Set up, load, perform necessary minor adjustments, and minor maintenance of manufacturing tools and equipment.
+ Perform inspection/verification of product quality throughout the assembly process to ensure zero defects.
+ Package finished and inspected products for shipment.
+ Read, understand, and follow all assembly documentation for each build.
+ Ensure the line is being run in strict accordance with the correct revision of assembly documentation.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in assembly, production, and electronics.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.
+ Basic understanding of wiring and harness components and equipment terminologies (e.g., stripping, tinning, crimping, lacing, splicing, component identification).
+ Ability to arrive to work on time.
+ Basic computer skills.
+ Effective written and verbal communication.
+ Great attention to detail.
+ Good hand dexterity skills.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with production and assembly processes.
+ Knowledge of electronics.
+ Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and blueprints.
+ Computer skills.

**Work Environment**
The work environment is a clean electronics manufacturing facility where employees have their own workstations to complete their portion of the assemblies. Employees are required to wear a smock and shoe straps while on the production floor. The standard working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8am to 4:30pm.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract position based out of Meridian, Idaho.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
