**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Assembly Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include disassembling, refurbishing, and assembling industrial vacuum pumps and air compressors. The role is physically demanding and involves working with various hand and air tools in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities** + Disassemble units to be repaired. + Clean and inspect all parts from disassembled pumps. + Evaluate the condition of the original parts and refurbish those to be reused. + Operate water baths, sandblasters, and overhead cranes. + Develop repair estimates and write technical reports. + Rebuild units according to engineering specs, ISAs, and ISO procedures. + Perform maintenance on shop equipment (e.g., part washer, bead blaster). + Troubleshoot equipment and refurbish parts. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly experience. + Proficiency with hand and power tools. + Troubleshooting skills. + Ability to lift 40+ lbs. + High school diploma or GED. + Basic computer skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with sandblasting, painting, and water jet. + Experience with disassembly of motors, pumps, and compressors. + Mechanically inclined. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a competitive pay structure and a great work environment that is clean and temperature-controlled. We provide uniforms that are washed weekly by Cintas. The work shifts are from 6 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday, with some additional hours as needed. We emphasize a safe and clean work environment, ensuring our employees have the necessary equipment and conditions to perform their jobs efficiently. **Job Type & Location** This is based out of Glennwillow, Ohio **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
