Assembly Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing sector, is seeking an Assembly Technician to join their team. As an Assembly Technician, you will be part of the production department supporting various project teams. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Assembly Technician
**Location:** Pittsburgh, PA
**Pay Range:** $18-20/hr DOE
**What's the Job?**
+ Fabrication of chemical feed equipment, including pipe fitting using PVC, CPVC, and stainless steel pipe.
+ Build fluid control systems out of piping by following design specifications.
+ Conduct functional testing of completed systems to ensure operational efficiency.
+ Maintain personal inventory and condition of tools, confirming pulled parts with Bills of Material.
+ Support company goals by adhering to policies, maintaining punctual attendance, and keeping a neat work area.
**What's Needed?**
+ One year of manufacturing work experience.
+ High School Diploma or equivalent.
+ Experience in welding, machining, plumbing, or home improvement tasks.
+ Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and perform constant physical movement.
+ Basic computer skills and mathematical skills, including addition and subtraction of fractions.
