Assembly Technician
**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling equipment, following blueprints, work instructions, and procedures to ensure high-quality product output. **Responsibilities** + Follow blueprints, work instructions, and procedures to assemble equipment. + Determine assembly sequence. + Retrieve, assemble, and attach component parts and sub-assemblies to products based on specifications. + Perform various hand assemblies, fitting, and adjusting operations of a repetitive nature. + Rework non-conforming parts and products. + Adjust equipment according to drawings and instructions. + Assemble all drive line technologies and electrical wiring circuits according to specifications, drawings, and instructions. + Test equipment according to work card and instructions using the test box. + Complete check-lists correctly. + Assist with accurate inventory control. + Lift, load, sort, and move materials, supplies, and finished products between storage and work areas safely. + Maintain legible and correct documentation of tasks. + Carry out a variety of activities including reading order sheets, preparing work, putting assemblies together, fitting drive line and control technologies, and testing equipment. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in using power hand tools. + Ability to communicate effectively with others. + Ability to follow and understand instructions. + Capability to follow pre-established guidelines. + Strong teamwork skills. + Knowledge of OSHA regulations and ability to work safely. + Ability to read, understand, and follow blueprints. + Attention to detail and ability to work carefully and in a concentrated manner. + Ability to detect anomalies and report them. + Willingness to learn. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with assembly, hand tools, power tools, blueprints, mechanical work, quality inspection, and torque wrenches. **Why Work Here?** We offer comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits, as well as a 401k plan. The job requires regular talking, hearing, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing. You must frequently lift and move items over 75 pounds. The shift is Monday to Thursday from 5am to 3:30pm, with overtime available on Fridays and Saturdays for 8-hour shifts. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of White, Georgia. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
