**Job Title: Assembly Technician** **Job Description** As an Assembly Technician, you will safely use various types of hand tools, hand-held power tools, automated termination machines, and other electronics manufacturing equipment. You will set up, load, perform necessary minor adjustments, and conduct minor maintenance on hand-held and automated manufacturing tools and equipment. Your role will include performing inspection and verification of product quality throughout the assembly process to ensure zero defects, packaging finished and inspected products for shipment, and reading, understanding, and following all assembly documentation each time an assembly is built. You will ensure that the production line is run in strict accordance with the correct revision of assembly documentation. **Responsibilities** + Safely use various types of hand tools and hand-held power tools. + Operate automated termination machines and other electronics manufacturing equipment. + Set up, load, and perform minor adjustments and maintenance on manufacturing tools and equipment. + Inspect and verify product quality throughout the assembly process to ensure zero defects. + Package finished and inspected products for shipment. + Read, understand, and follow all assembly documentation for each build. + Ensure the production line is run according to the correct revision of assembly documentation. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in assembly and production processes. + Skilled in using hand tools and power tools. + Basic understanding of wiring and harness components and equipment terminologies (e.g., stripping, tinning, crimping, lacing, splicing, component identification). + Effective written and verbal communication skills. + Great attention to detail and good hand dexterity. + Basic computer skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with electronics manufacturing. + Knowledge of SOPs and blueprints. + Ability to arrive to work on time. **Why Work Here?** We offer a culture-driven, clean work environment with opportunities for growth. Employees are required to wear a smock and shoe straps while on the production floor. The standard work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 6am to 4:30pm, with occasional overtime on Fridays. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Meridian, Idaho. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
