Job Description:

Location: Palmer, Massachusetts

CoWorx Staffing Services in partnership with IMI Adaptas is hiring Assembly Technicians

An Assembly Technician assembles, verifies, and tests various technical assemblies classified from component builds to fully integrated systems under the approval of engineering and scientific staff.

Responsibilities:

– Understand details of assembly drawings and bills of materials.
– Accurately complete all relevant paperwork and adhere to deadlines.
– Routinely communicate with production leadership on issues which could affect production and the
meeting of deadlines.
– Must follow orders and assembly data sheets, etc.
– Operate necessary equipment either automated or manual.
– Handle various raw materials and give suggestions on ways to improve the product or manufacturing
processes.
– Understand details of assembly drawings and bills of materials within the life-science industry.
– Drawing, grinding, and polishing glass fibers.

Desired Background/Skills:

– High School diploma or GED
– Must have the ability to work with a microscope.
– Candidate MUST have attention to detail.
– 1 – 3 years of manufacturing experience or combination of experience and education.
– Must have an attention to detail and able to operate with minimal supervision.
– Must be able to read, write, and understand English.
– Team player.

Other Information:

Temp to hire opportunity

1st shift: 7:00am-3:30pm M-F

2nd shift: 3:30pm-2am M-TH *will train 1st week of hire on 1st shift
