About the Role:
In this role, you'll be responsible for performing assembly and testing processes on sophisticated aerospace systems. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will ensure that our products meet high standards. If you have a strong mechanical aptitude and can work independently with minimal supervision, this is the opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Precision Assembly & Testing: Use precision tools and measuring equipment to assemble and test hydro-mechanical fuel controls in an aerospace production environment.

Work Instruction Compliance: Follow electronic work instructions, blueprints, and quality procedures to ensure accuracy and consistency in your work.

Quality Control: Inspect parts and products for quality, reporting any faulty operations or defective materials, and initiate corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement efforts and rapid problem-solving to enhance processes and product quality.

Collaboration & Reporting: Engage in daily Tier meetings, maintain work area standards, and document all work accurately and on time.

Required Qualifications:

Hands-On Experience: Must have a technical or mechanical background, ideally in automotive, aerospace, electrical, plumbing, construction, machining, or aviation.

Experience in Manufacturing: 3-6 years of relevant manufacturing experience preferred, with the ability to follow detailed assembly and test instructions.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measuring devices (micrometers, calipers, etc.) and hand tools.

Computer Skills: Basic computer literacy, including internet navigation and MS Office.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. and work in an environment with potential exposure to physical, chemical, and machine-related risks.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience: 2-3 years in an assembly and/or test manufacturing environment.

Certifications: North Carolina WorkKeys Career Readiness certificate (Silver or Gold) and Six Sigma training or certification.

Education: Associates degree is a plus.

Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Team Player: Ability to work in a team and contribute to continuous improvement activities.

5S Knowledge: Experience with 5-S principles and adherence to workplace organization standards.

Pay Details: $22.00 per hour
