Volt is immediately hiring for Assembly Workers in Henrico, Virginia.

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n

As an Assembly worker you will:

\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tRead work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies.\r\n\tPositions and aligns parts in specified relationship to each other in jig, fixture or other holding devices.\r\n\tCrimps, stakes, screws, bolts, rivets, welds, solders, cements, press fits or performs similar operations to join or secure parts in place.\r\n\tMounts assembled components to boards or units.\r\n\tAssembles and attaches hardware, such as caps, clamps, knobs and switches, to assemblies.\r\n\tPerforms intermediate assembly tasks, such as potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating and color-coding parts and assemblies.\r\n\tAdjusts or trims materials from components to achieve specified electrical requirements or dimensional characteristics.\r\n\r\n\r\n

This is a part time opportunity.

\r\n\r\n

The ideal Assembly worker candidate will have:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tAbility to operate machinery and computers.\r\n\tExcellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail\r\n\tFamiliar with electrical and mechanical assembly\r\n\tUnderstanding of and ability to use a wide variety of tools.\r\n\tCandidates selected must meet all pre-screening eligibility requirements.\r\n\r\n\r\n

Experience with the following is a plus:

\r\n\r\n\r\n\tElectronic Assembly\r\n\tMechanical Assembly \r\n\tProduction\r\n\tMachine Operating\r\n\tGeneral Labor\r\n\r\n\r\n

\r\n\r\nPay Rate:$17.00-$18.25 Shift:1st and 2nd shift\r\n\r\n*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.\r\n\r\n
