Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Assembly Worker to join our team. This role involves mechanical assembly using hand and power tools to put together small parts for mounting inside circuit boards and other products. No medical certifications are required, but steel-toed shoes are necessary.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly tasks using hand and power tools.Assemble small parts for mounting inside circuit boards and other products.Stand on your feet all day while performing assembly tasks.Read and interpret blueprints.Perform tacking and drilling tasks using provided equipment.Utilize measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers.Conduct visual inspections of parts on a routine basis.Mount parts onto panel assemblies using hand and power tools.Stock inventory, pull orders, and load parts into bins for shipment.Essential Skills2 years of mechanical assembly experience.Experience using hand and power tools.Ability to stand for long periods during production assembly.Preferred: 2 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in panel layout, control boxes, or sheet metal enclosures is a plus.Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints.Work Environment
You will be working in a large, clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled electrical cabinet assembly and warehouse environment. The workspace is organized with large open spaces. The job is fast-paced, and you will work Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for overtime and weekend shifts.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00
