Assembly Worker
**Job Title: Assembly Worker** **Job Description** We produce Rotary/Flat Dies designed to cut cardboard, similar to a large cookie cutter. These dies are provided to major corrugating companies. As an Assembly Worker, you will be responsible for building fixture dies from start to finish, operating various machines to complete routing on wood, and using different hand/power tools for the full build. The role involves team lifts for moving dies and requires computer proficiency to follow instructions and complete documentation. Training is provided and may take up to 5 months for proficiency. **Responsibilities** + Build fixture dies from start to finish. + Operate a variety of machines to complete routing on wood. + Use different hand and power tools to complete full builds. + Follow written and visual instructions. + Complete documentation using computers. + Perform team lifts for moving dies. + Maintain a clean and safe work environment. **Essential Skills** + Experience with hand and power tools. + Ability to lift 50-80 lbs. + Hand dexterity and attention to detail. + Ability to follow written and visual instructions (1 year preferred). + Basic math skills. + Experience with work orders. + High school diploma or GED preferred. + Ability to read, write, and speak English. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Friendliness and willingness to learn. + Previous experience in construction, woodworking, or assembly. + Experience working in a team. **Why Work Here?** We offer long-term opportunities with potential for growth into other departments such as laser operating, fixture building, CAD, and sales. We host several employee appreciation events, including an annual ice fishing tournament with supplies, food, and prizes, and special food and coffee days. The workplace may have occasional smells of glue and sawdust, as well as solvents and other chemicals. Masks are available if needed. The position involves standing all day with anti-fatigue mats provided. The dress code includes typical manufacturing work clothes such as jeans or pants, t-shirts or sweatshirts without derogatory words/images, and tennis shoes/closed-toe shoes. The work schedule is Monday to Friday with occasional overtime at the end of the shift for 1-2 hours as needed. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Blaine, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
