Assessment Clinician

High Focus Centers in Cherry Hill is a premier provider of outpatient treatment programs for mental health, substance use and co-occurring disorders. Our highly trained staff create individualized, comprehensive and robust treatment plans designed to meet each client’s treatment goals. At High Focus Centers in Cherry Hill we are currently seeking an Assessment Clinician with the knowledge base to do assessments to determine the appropriate level of care for psychiatric and chemical dependency patients. Salary Range: $56,000 - $60,000/year (with eligibility for monthly merit program and free licensure supervision)

Schedule: Full time 40 hours/week

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Introduce and explain the Level of Care Assessment (LOCA) process to clients.
• Collect demographic and historical information relevant to the LOCA.
• Explain and facilitate signatures for Releases of Information (ROI) and other admission paperwork.
• Facilitate admission process by communicating with Licensed Counselor when client is ready for clinical portion of the LOCA.
• Gather information for and complete precertification for all managed care clients when applicable.
• Required to find placement in appropriate setting for the client.
• Collaboration with therapists and marketing team.
• Case consulting with clinical team.
• Collaborates with admissions to keep schedule up to date.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Licensure Required (LCSW/LSW/LPC) Preferred experience in within the mental health/ trauma, eating disorder, and substance use domains.
