Job Title: Asset Based Finance (ABF) Valuations and Analytics, Analyst

Job Description:

The core focus of the Portfolio Management - Valuations and Analytics team is to evaluate, analyze, and summarize valuation and performance results for Blackstone’s ABF investments on a regular basis. This role will focus on private assets in the growing Insurance platform within Blackstone Credit and Insurance (“BXCI”).  Other responsibilities may include supporting the broader finance and investor relations teams on an ad hoc basis in managing client, investor and, management requests.

Manage relationships with third party pricing vendors to onboard new investments, challenge assumptions and marks on monthly/quarterly basis, and other ad hoc requestsParticipate in discussions with and provide deliverables to the ABF investment team related to investmentsWork closely with Investor Relations and Fund Accounting to gather requested investment information and answer any questions on marks or assumptions for clients and auditors Assist in the preparation and presentation of management materials for Blackstone’s ABF valuation committee meetingsAssist in the preparation and review of monthly investor communications and other marketing-related schedules and exhibitsMaintain and expand upon ABF investment list including current invested amount, investment overview, and other key pointsImplement controls, enhancements, and improvements to the group’s reporting processes, procedures, offshore resources, and use of technologyParticipate in various group initiatives and projects

Qualifications:

Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting2+ years of pricing, valuations, product control, or operations experience at an alternative investment manager, bank, relevant consulting firm, or similar environmentProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is requiredDetail orientedExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to adapt to new challenges in a dynamic while handling multiple projects

Expected annual base salary range:

$90,000 - $125,000

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
