This position will be required to work onsite full-time. The Airport Integrated Operations Center (AIOC) will be SFO’s 24/7 guest centric nerve center with end-to-end visibility through a common operating picture. The AIOC will be staffed with skilled teams and decision makers that set the Daily Operations Plan, mitigate pain points and share information to promote healthy airport operations. The AIOC will be more than a room with innovative technology and skilled operators; it is a mindset that drives our day-to-day operation to create a seamless and responsive travel experience for everyone. The AIOC will create an extraordinary guest experience through centralized operational control - enabling informed, data-driven decisions and managing all reported issues with care, while working in collaboration to provide a safe, secure, and seamless guest experience. This recruitment may be used to fill the following positions: Asset Coordinator: Under direction from the Current Operations Team Leader, the Asset Coordinator will operationally manage all SFO airport assets including gates, hardstands, plots, baggage make-up units, check-in counters, roadways, ground transportation products and other airport assets to enable smooth operations. This involves ensuring that asset assignments and active asset management reflects accurate utilization of Airport assets and promotes efficient and effective operational flows in the best interest of the guest experience. This also includes making real-time adjustments to asset assignments, continuously ensuring that all SFO assets are optimized according to SFO policies, procedures, and financial models, and liaising with airlines, ground transportation providers, the FAA, and ground towers to promote efficient operations. This position will partner with other Asset Coordinators in the AIOC to manage all airport assets, and may change focus areas (landside, terminal, airside) based on operational conditions and needs. The Asset Coordinator is an integrated member of the AIOC and is expected to work collaboratively with all AIOC personnel in addition to Airside, Landside, and Terminal Operations team members and other SFO staff to monitor and manage operations, solve problems, generate innovative ideas, and share information across SFO teams. Airport Systems Coordinator: Under direction from the Current Operations Team Leader and in alignment with contractual obligations, the Airport Systems Coordinator will manage all systems-related activities from within the AIOC. This includes ensuring continuous and uninterrupted provision of SFO systems by monitoring each service, system or device, and coordinating needed personnel from specialty areas, vendors, or shops to respond or act as needed to support the operation. This position is also responsible for monitoring systems work orders and collaborating with the Current Operations Section to reprioritize as needed, managing all system disruptions, and collaborating across teams in the AIOC to respond to operational events. The Airport System Coordinator will work closely with the Maintenance Coordinator when needing to collaborate with SFO personnel/trades and will coordinate and implement responses from Subject Matter Experts while serving as a resource for systems when resolving issues with AIOC and other SFO personnel. This position is an integrated member of the AIOC and is expected to partner collaboratively with all AIOC personnel in addition to SFO Terminal Systems team members and other relevant SFO personnel and contractors to monitor and manage operations, avoid and address problems, generate innovative ideas, and share information across SFO teams. Education: Possession of a Baccalaureate Degree from an accredited college or university, AND Experience: Three (3) years full-time equivalent experience performing professional-level administrative duties in functional areas such as: program/office/operations management, budget development and/or administration, development and administration of contractual agreements and/or grants, or other closely related functional areas. Substitution:  Education Substitution: Additional qualifying experience in program/office/operations management, budget development and/or administration, or contract/grant administration may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.  One (1) year (2000 hours) of additional qualifying experience will be considered equivalent to thirty (30) semester units or forty-five (45) quarter units. Any overtime hours that you work above 40 hours per week are not included in the calculation to determine full time employment. What you'll bring to SFO: Asset Coordinator + Strong experience in asset management and optimization, preferably at a large facility such as an airport, university, government building, or manufacturing facility. + Deep understanding of airport and airline operations strategies, responses, and considerations. + Experience deconflicting issues between parties with different priorities. + Curious mind who constantly looks beyond obvious problems to identify areas of impact; ability to identify current and future operational impacts and share findings with other relevant personnel. + Ability to stay poised and deliver high-quality work while working on multiple concurrent initiatives. + Strong understanding of the SFO operational environment, stakeholders, tenants, and policies and procedures. Airport Systems Coordinator + Ability to stay poised under pressure and maintain excellent quality work while working on multiple concurrent initiatives. + Experience working operationally on airport terminal systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). + Experience working in a control center, including operations control and/or systems control. + Ability to work effectively and courteously while collaborating alongside multiple different roles. + Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to think outside-of-the-box to generate actionable, innovative solutions. + Ability to use appropriate information-gathering techniques, analyze information, select the best solution, and communicate that solution to a diverse group of stakeholders (problem solving).
