Job Description Summaryor Grid Solutions, Offshore HVDC represents a key differentiating technology and a central focus for the business, particularly in Europe where Transmission System Operators have very ambitious renewable energy targets. In that context and for Germany, Grid Solutions is partnering with TenneT, which plans to invest more than $30B by 2030 in deploying new HVDC converter stations to bring Offshore Wind energy into Germany and the Netherlands.
In this context, Grid Solutions is looking for an Asset Manager who will oversee and coordinate all asset data as part of a portfolio of several mega HVDC projects in Germany (contracts value > $1B).

The Asset data Manager will coordinate

GE supplying unitsMain contractorsCustomer counterpart

and be directly responsible of large strategic work packages, including the delivery of the HVDC off- and onshore. The Asset Date manager will report to the project information manager.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for Collection processing and storage of data in compliance with the company standardsEnsuring data security by managing access permissions and implementing protocols for data handlingCollaborating with Engineering teams to align on data practices with project requirementsResponsible for handling data management toolsManage entire data lifecycle from collection to disposal and archivalResponsible for maintaining comprehensive documentation of data processing activitiesProficient in SQL and other database management toolsExperience in handling large project data for Engineering projectsCoordinate with Engineering and operations functions for the smooth functioning and implementation of Object Type library and Reference designationCoordinate requirements, deliverables, and data exchange processes with suppliers

Required Qualifications

This role requires experience in the handling of complex asset data, deep dive into database structures.Storytelling and presentation of data solution to key contacts of customer and suppliers.Master's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma) and at least 2 years (full time job) of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).Strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.LanguageEnglish (mandatory)German (at least as second language because major contacts of customer is speaking German).
