As an Associate Business Manager in the Retirement business within Asset Management, you will partner with senior leaders to drive strategic initiatives and deliver value-added analysis. Your role will focus on increasing sales productivity and profitability, ensuring successful implementation of new initiatives. The role will be based in New York and be a member of the Asset Management Americas Client & Global Insurance F&BM team reporting to the CFO & Head of F&BM for the Americas Client & GIS businesses, with additional accountability to the Head of the AM Retirement business.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide support, unbiased advice, analysis and actionable recommendations to Head of AM Retirement as well as various other senior leaders End to end ownership and management of business priority projects Partner with other business-aligned functional areas (Client Service, Marketing, Legal, Risk & Controls, HR, Compliance, Technology and Operations) with respect to change management initiatives Collaborate with F&BM counterparts in other distribution channels on various projects Identify internal control issues or inefficiencies and own solutions (business process reengineering, technology enhancements, control environment), including ownership of internal audit requests and the annual RCSA (Risk Control Self-Assessment) process Handle ad-hoc client issue escalations Prepare senior management for internal and external meetingsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
4+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, with exposure to Asset Management Excellent presentation and communication skills: delivering messages clearly and succinctly with tailored approach depending on target audience Ability to build strong working relationships and influence a wide range of stakeholders, including executive management Strong project management skills, with emphasis on controls and focus on process improvement Excellent analytical skills Pro-active and problem solving mindset with ability to identify, clearly present and implement solutions
