This role combines analytical responsibilities with operational support, providing a unique opportunity to contribute to the efficient management of our industrial real estate portfolio while developing valuable skills in asset management.
Responsibilities:
Financial Analysis and Reporting:
Conduct financial analysis of real estate investments, including cash flow forecasting, rent roll analysis, and lease analysis.
Prepare financial reports, performance summaries, and variance analyses.
Assist in the development of annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts.
Analyze market trends and economic indicators to identify risks and opportunities within the portfolio.
Performance Evaluation and Optimization:
Assess the financial impact of operational and market changes to identify potential enhancements and improve asset performance.
Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and investment analysis.
Utilize KPIs, financial ratios, and benchmarks to evaluate asset performance and recommend optimization strategies.
Operational Support:
Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and organize travel arrangements for the Senior Asset Manager.
Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including phone calls, emails, and mail.
Prepare written correspondence, presentations, and reports as needed.
Support the coordination, tracking, and processing of contracts, leases, and other legal documentation.
Data Management and Reporting:
Maintain accurate and updated records related to the industrial portfolio, including tenant information, lease agreements, and property performance metrics.
Assist in the preparation of semi-annual and annual presentations and fund performance reports.
Communication and Translation:
Act as a liaison between the Senior Asset Manager, internal teams, and external stakeholders.
Translate documents and communications between Spanish and English.
Marketing Support:
Create visually appealing presentations for internal and external stakeholders using marketing skills.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and financial modeling software.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau) or coding skills (e.g., Python) is preferred.
Understanding of industrial real estate and familiarity with property management practices is desirable.
1-2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
