Next to establishing and maintaining a high level of service for clients across all asset classes, CAMs are responsible for developing an understanding of the unique servicing needs of their clients and championing those concerns within the context of the larger firm.
As Client Account Managers (“CAM”s) you are acting as key contact for KVGs (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaften), key stakeholders, and the business for all non-investment related client matters. You are responsible for ensuring a positive, solution-driven service experience for our clients throughout their relationship with JPM.
Job responsibilities
Act as key contact and coordination for KVGs (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaften), key stakeholders, and the business for all service-related client matters Work cross functionally across a number of departments such as legal, compliance, risk, product areas and attaining “buy in” from the business to meet the clients’ needs, in order to achieve a manageable solution. Review and negotiate Investment Management Agreements and all other legal documentation (such as futures account opening documentation etc) in conjunction with the legal department. Coordinate all client aspects of account opening/closing both with clients and internally (i.e. including explaining operational processes & JPM policies to clients, validating client instructions and instructing the business, ensuring all systems are correctly set up etc.) Partner with the Client Onboarding Management (COM) team who coordinate onboardings/transitions / strategic restructures / custody changes/ Terminations etc. Obtain and record Know Your Client (KYC) documentation to support Anti-money laundering responsibilities and provide to the KYC team Attend and present at client meetings, audit meetings & new business presentations (Might be neededoccasional business trips)Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Proven experience in a similar relationship management role ideally with exposure to an international environment (preferable at an asset manager firm) Good understanding of the asset management structure, instruments, and key stakeholders as well as client focused and ability to gain an in-depth understanding of clients’ servicing needs Excellent communication skills, oral and written, both in German (native speaker) and English Highly accurate with good attention to detail Strong judgement and decision- making skills with a risk mind set Ability to prioritize at an advanced level Solid knowledge on the German financial and institutional fund industry and the relevant legal structures and regulatory requirements
