Asset Management - Customized Bond Portfolios (CBP) Fixed Income Investment Specialist - Vice President
The Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities team (GFICC) at J.P. Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities manages a broad range of strategies, through funds and/or separate accounts, including broad market, long duration, stable value, intermediate high yield, emerging market debt, short and ultra-short duration, global bonds, structured products, mortgages and tax-aware strategies. The Customized Bond Portfolios (CBP) group within GFICC manages fixed income separately managed accounts (SMAs) for a total AUM of $180 bn across municipals, government, corporate credit, high yield, broad markets, preferreds, and international strategies. As a Customized Bond Portfolio Investment Specialist within the Global Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities team (GFICC) at J.P. Morgan Asset Management, you will actively engage in maintaining and developing relationships between the investment desks, external clients and distribution teams. You will represent your investment team on business related matters, including, but not limited to servicing clients, marketing investment strategies, product development and sales/retention strategy. You should share our passion for creating an exceptional client experience and managing our business within a team-based structure. Your role is to know the portfolios you represent as if you were the Portfolio Manager. You should be fully integrated with the investment team to ensure a deep understanding of portfolios can be distilled and translated to internal partners and external clients alike. **Job Responsibilities** + Engage with the sales teams across distribution channels to jointly develop distribution strategy and subsequent game plan + Analyze portfolios including positioning, analytics, and performance results + Develop engaging, compelling, and dynamic marketing content to position strategies in an evolving market environment + Lead client meetings, both external (client pitches and portfolio reviews) and internal (product development and strategy meetings) + Serve as the primary point of contact with the client on markets, investment matters (i.e., portfolio results and positioning) + Partner with client advisors on new business opportunities (represent fixed income capabilities in meetings, facilitate RFPs, pitch decks) + Obtain an in-depth understanding of fixed income investment portfolios **Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills** + Six plus years of related experience in fixed income + Bachelor's Degree + Series 7 and 63 + Extensive knowledge and experience in fixed income markets + Demonstrated track record in developing business across a range of investor segments, including retail and institutional + Excellent responsiveness and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail + Ability to work proactively and creatively in a team environment + Developed interpersonal, presentation skills and ability to deal with clients and colleagues at all levels + Exceptional time management with the ability to prioritize multiple deliverables + Dynamic and credible professional who communicates with clarity and has excellent presentation skills + Strong knowledge of Bloomberg, PowerPoint, and advanced level of Excel **Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills** + Advanced degree or certification, such as MBA or CFA preferred + Separately Managed Account and Investortools/Perform system experience a plus + Python skillset would be additive JPMorganChase, one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
