Job Summary
As an Asset Management - Debt Associate within JPMorgan Asset Management Global Real Estate & Infrastructure, you will play an integral role in supporting the senior deal officers in all aspects of the debt procurement process for debt financing on the domestic platform. You will be expected to grow into a junior deal officer role upon demonstrating your proficiency in the deal process. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, develop your skills, and contribute to one of the world's largest real estate investment advisors.
Job Responsibilities
• Work as an associate in the real estate debt capital market team, assisting senior deal officers and growing into a junior deal officer role
• Provide qualitative and quantitative analysis on lender quotes including levered returns analysis and effective rate calculations
• Track maturing loans and loans in process
• Analyze and interpret various types of loan documents, including loan agreement, notes, guarantees, assignment of leases and rents, etc.
• Create loan abstracts for closed loans in on-line management system
• Produce monthly reports on borrowing activity
• Prepare and review of loan packages to submit to Lenders
• Update Quarterly Fund sponsorship summaries
• Assist in Investment Committee Write Ups
• Provide quantitative analysis on hedging options
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
· 3+ years of experience in commercial real estate areas of which could include finance, banking, equity, and management
· Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work in a team environment
· Passionate about commercial real estate and debt capital markets
· Relationship maker with ability to nurture relationships both internally and externally
· Strong written and oral communication skills
· Attention to detail
· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, independent of supervision
· Strong quantitative and analytical skills with demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for cash flow modeling, including inputs used to create real estate cash flows.
· Excellent critical thinker who can synthesize information, prioritize assignments and execute tasks on time

Knowledge of Argus AE and Powerpoint a plus
