The Financial Intermediary Client Account Manager will work as part of a team to service the operational needs of internal and external clients of the J.P. Morgan Funds business. The individual will understand all aspects of assigned intermediaries including, their business model, back-office operations structure, sales practices, contractual obligations, and invoicing. The Client Account Manager is fully responsible for owning and influencing client outcomes and is accountable for placing JPMorgan Asset Management’s Service Alpha at the core of the value proposition to our strategic clients.
As a Client Account Manager in the Financial Intermediary Services Team, you will be responsible for all operations initiatives intermediaries including conversion events and other activities as they arise. You will partner closely with the Global Strategic Relationship and Sales teams to ensure all Sales and Product initiatives are managed effectively with intermediary partners. The team works closely with many other internal departments including but not limited to: Contract Specialist, Finance, SEP, FMDW, Product Implementation, TAMS, and other teams within Client Services.
Job responsibilities .
Build and maintain relationships with intermediaries’ senior leaders within Operations and act as the voice of the Intermediary within JPMorgan. Serve as an escalation point for both team members and internal departments to ensure all team responsibilities meet expectations. Act as a subject matter expert for assigned firms including, operations, sales, and contractual obligations, etc. Understand and manage system enhancements that impact Intermediary clients, whether initiated internally or by vendors. Collaborate with Intermediaries to implement Industry initiatives and system changes. Manage the internal client experience by managing and influencing internal stakeholders. Lead internal projects and partner closely with other teams to drive strategic initiatives.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
Bachelor’s degree required FINRA series 6 or 7 license required Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the mutual fund industry Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Asset Management in a client facing role and a background in Client Services Ability to develop strong client and internal relationships and an in-depth understanding of client servicing needs Knowledge of financial markets and the securities traded in those markets, as well as quickly assess market trends and identify educational opportunities for the team Strong organization, communication, project management, and time management skills.
