Job Description:At Regions, the Asset Management Investment Research Analyst assists in the selection, evaluation, and on-going monitoring of investment managers.
Identifies and recommends investment managers in assigned sub-asset class or classesPerforms ongoing due diligence and monitoring of assigned investment managersRecommends managers for inclusion within Regions Asset Management model portfoliosManages relationships with external third-party managersWrites white papers on investment-related topicsMay conduct research focused on individual securities/issuersManages risk reporting and monitors mutual fund portfoliosCommunicates model performance internallyWrites quarterly model commentaries and performs attribution analysisThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related fieldThree (3) years of experience in investment research or closely related fieldPreferences:
Master's degree in Business Administration and/or CFA CharterSkills and Competencies:
Advanced analytical and quantitative skillsAdvanced knowledge of Bloomberg and/or FactsetExcellent verbal and written communication skillsProficient in ExcelProgramming or coding experience, specifically using Python or PowerBIThis position may be filled at a higher level depending on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience.
