Asset Management - Process Improvement and Change Management - Associate

As an Associate in the APAC Process Improvement and Change Management team, you will be responsible for streamlining current processes within JPMorgan Asset Management, as well as managing vendor’s change management book of work. Your responsibilities will include solutioning requests, prioritizing, budgeting, and overseeing the end-to-end implementation. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to understand how the change request supports our business priorities and product roadmaps, interacting with internal global partners like Product, Operations, Client Service, and Technology, as well as external vendors. Additionally, you will ensure a consistent approach is taken throughout the region and support our evolution into a product-centric organization.

 

Job responsibilities

Lead vendor’s change management specialists across APACPartner with cross-functional teams including Product teams, Operations, Client Services, Business Management, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Controls to consider, solution, influence, prioritize, implement, and deliver on internal requests on external vendors changeUse the existing governance framework to harmonize the APAC regional approach to change managementResolve issues and undertake effective issue management practice to ensure timely resolution of key roadblocks, escalating where appropriate Support the re-engineering and enhancement of existing operational and service models to improve scalability, enhance operational controls, and mitigate business riskLiaise with external parties for successful delivery of the initiativeEnsure effective and timely communication of initiative status with stakeholders and senior management to keep them abreast of key developments

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

Team player with a good learning attitude, highly committed, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlinesDisciplined project management, organization, and execution skillsIntermediate understanding of vehicle types including funds, ETFs, and pension fundsExceptional attention to details, critical thinking and analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication, as well as stakeholder management skillsDemonstrated ability to deliver results through organizational partnership with cross-functional teams

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

5+ years working experience in financial services (preferably Asset Management) in analyzing and delivering against business strategies and change managementPrior experience in PMO, Client Service, Operations, or Business ManagementDemonstrated proficiency in Confluence, JIRA and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)Fluency in Mandarin and English, written and verbalKnowledge of fund life cycle and complex instruments including derivatives and alternatives is a plusKnowledge and experience in using Python, UiPath and Alteryx would be advantageous
