Asset Management Specialist (Formally Reliability Specialist)
The primary function of the Asset Management Specialist is to support reliability information and Asset Integrity inspection management systems and their users. This includes but is not limited to ProCal, GE APM, RBOM (Operator Equipment Monitoring), and SAP/AssetView. In addition, this position will also support mobile devices and reporting - PowerBI. This individual will primarily support the systems at TXO and work closely with resources available at other sites.
Job duties include:
Provide GE APM support for the site including but not limited to RBOM, Lubrication and Inspection Manager, and SAP/AssetView applications related to reliability and asset integrity information systems. Manage Securities Add new items Remove old items Modify as needed Troubleshooting Training Create and run queries Work with IT to update the system as needed including dashboards, reports, checklists, etc Learn new software capabilities and apply them to Eastman work processes. Provide backup support for ProCal for Maintenance. Provide device hardware and software support as related to software applications. Provide training in the classroom, virtually and in the field related to reliability information and inspection management systems. Network with Corporate Reliability Systems and Asset Integrity involving periodic GE APM or other reliability software upgrades and serve as a TXO focal point for these upgrades. Assist other sites as needed in developing and deploying GE APM applications including but not limited to RBOM. Network with Corporate and other sites within the company to share best practices. Develop and support reporting software such as PowerBI in support of ProCal, RBOM, GE APM and other reliability and asset integrity initiatives. Static and live data displays. Tables and graphs. Trend Charts Provide backup support for Workforce Timekeep system devices. Develop, document and deliver training to users of reliability systems. Develop training documentation for administrators of the software systems. Follow written and/or verbal instructions and training. Follow all Occupational Safety & Health Act (OSHA) requirements and other safety procedures outlined in the TEX Authorized Safe Practice Manual and TEX Emergency Plan, including evacuation if appropriate. Follow good housekeeping practices, including correcting or reporting to supervision immediately any unsafe conditions or practices. Use all safety equipment as designated, including but not limited to safety glasses, safety hats, and hearing protection. Communicate effectively in order to perform the essential functions of the job. Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. Occasional travel will be required. QualificationsRequired:
At least a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidate must have strong computer skills. Must have experience with basic Microsoft Office products (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, & Outlook) Must have the physical capability to perform inspection duties in operating areas, including but not limited to: climbing ladders, working on your feet long hours, working around chemical processing equipment, working in all weather conditions, wearing all required personal protective equipment, etc. Must have strong communication skills – both verbal and written Must have strong teamwork skills Must be a safe worker and have a demonstrated history of adhering to Eastman Basic Safety Expectations
Preferred additional qualifications:
Two-year technical degree at an approved college. Successfully completed either internal or external courses in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint, and/or PowerBI Experience with PowerBI, GE APM, SAP/Assetview, ProCal, ProjectWise and/or other similar software application Good computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) or have the ability and interest to learn quickly and apply new skills and technologies. Experience in training, presenting or speaking to small groups (i.e. crew safety rep, other assignments involving oral presentations) Graduated from apprentice school if a mechanic or operator.
