As a Vice President in the Taiwan Intermediary Business, you will actively engage with established clients and look for new and innovative ways to build our client book. Using our market-leading technology and CRM system, you will create detailed client contact that help our Sales and Investment teams identify new opportunities and bring cutting edge solutions to our clients. Our Taiwan Intermediary Business sells investment products through non-affiliated intermediaries, such as securities firms, banks, financial planners, insurance companies, who, in turn, sell these products to individual investors. This position will primarily concentrate on the ETF business, working with securities firms to negotiate various contracts and prepare for the launch of new onshore ETF products.
Job responsibilities:
Build and deepen strong ETF partnerships with securities firms and construct a long term business plan Communicate proactively with all levels of clients (including gatekeepers, investment consultants, relationship managers) from various intermediaries and explore sales and other promotional activities Partner with APAC ETF Specialists to effectively deliver ETF resources to clients, including comparative analytics, capital markets insights and actionable investment ideas. Maintain the highest standards in business ethics and comply with internal guidelines. Understand and analyze industry development and translate into business opportunity Prepare business report and handle business agreement related issues Work effectively with different internal parties and able to present on the team’s behalf Be a team player to achieve overall business objectives, i.e. sales targets and other KPIsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
University graduate in Business, Finance and/or related discipline with a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial industry Proven experience in ETF products, including the full lifecycle from launch to management. Good team player whilst able to work independently Strive for excellence; able to work under strong pressure Good analytical skills and can demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and investment products (especially ETF products) Spoken and written fluency in Chinese and English Strong interpersonal and presentation skills Obtain local regulatory license, i.e. SITCA Sales, or Senior Security Sales
