Asset Manager III

Are you passionate about managing and coaching individuals, coordinating complex corporate actions and looking to support our best-in-class announcement capture function for the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) at JPMorgan? As a member of the WHEM Announcement Capture Utility you play a very important role in the daily operational management functions of the team. You will work with the many lines of business within the CIB and Securities Services Operations to provide a Utility Service as it relates to Corporate Action Announcements. 

As an Announcement Capture Utility-Vice President within the Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) Announcement Capture Utility (ACU) team, you will play a crucial and pivotal role in supporting the Securities Services Announcement Capture Utility in delivering best in class corporate action announcement data to multiple internal and external clients around the globe. You will interact with our leading Custody and Prime Brokerage lines of business amongst the many subscribers, to proactively manage the announcement information throughout the lifecycle of the corporate action. This role provides the opportunity to contribute to the management of the regional processing team, influence the direction of digital solutions and support the global strategic objectives of the Announcement Capture Utility. The WHEM team is primarily responsible for sourcing and publishing events in the US, Canadian and Latin American markets. 

Responsibilities: 

Manage, coach and motivate staff of 15 to generate timely and accurate corporate action announcements to subscribers of the ACU service offering Deliver positive client experiences by ensuring work product outputs are fit for consumption and meet expectations of both the ACU and clients Provide leadership and work collaboratively within the team and across the global announcement capture organization Promote and drive a culture of strong risk management that aligns with firm expectations Leverage data to drive insights, identify trends, measure productivity and manage the business most effectively Drive the growth, adoption and utilization of digital tools to increase automation, reduce manual touchpoints and mitigate processing risk

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills:

Strong Asset Services/Corporate Action related experience (minimum 5+ years) Experienced Management background (preferably in Asset Services) Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with all business partners Operate and lead effectively in a dynamic environment with competing priorities Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills are essential, including the ability to present information in a clear, concise and effective manner to a wide variety of audiences
