Kforce has a client that is seeking an Asset Manager Lead/Project Manager in Chantilly, VA. Responsibilities: Project Management: * Lead and manage asset management projects, including the 3-year technical refresh cycle, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget * Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation * Coordinate with project stakeholders, including OBIT, procurement, and logistics teams, to ensure smooth execution and alignment with organizational goals * Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies * Report project status, including progress, issues, and solutions, to senior management and stakeholders Asset Management: * Oversee the entire lifecycle of NSF-owned IT hardware assets, including workstations and mobile devices * Develop and implement asset management policies and procedures in line with the 3-year technical refresh cycle * Track asset inventory, usage, and maintenance schedules using ServiceNow * Ensure compliance with organizational policies, standardization initiatives (CCPP and CAMP), and regulatory requirements * Analyze asset data to optimize usage and reduce costs, particularly focusing on warranty expiries and replacement planning * Establish and manage a bench stock of IT hardware supplies within the IT Service Desk workspace * Manage the procurement, deployment, and replacement of approximately 1,000 workstations annually, and ensure efficient upgrade of 170 handheld mobile devices
