Asset Reliability Engineer
**Asset Reliability Engineer** Adecco seeking is seeking an Asset Reliability Engineer in Midland, Tx to provide risk assessment engineering for our Pipeline and Salt Water Disposal facilities. This role focuses on data analytics, reporting risk metrics, and delivering subject matter expertise in pipeline integrity, non-destructive testing, and risk-based inspections. The position offers competitive compensation based on experience and will involve travel to various company sites. **Essential Job Requirements:** + Conduct threat assessments and risk analyses to report on pipeline and SWD facility integrity risks. + Identify high consequence areas and manage risk assessment tools using engineering judgment and reliability expertise. + Analyze the consequences and risks of degradation on pipeline and process equipment, performing remaining strength and fitness-for-service analyses. + Design, plan, and monitor inspection programs with internal and third-party NDT/NDE personnel, interpreting and assessing generated data. + Evaluate historical inspection, operational conditions, and corrosion control data to guide further inspections and operations. + Provide oversight and support to Engineering, Operations, Asset Reliability, and SWD teams. + Assist in the implementation and oversight of the Corporate Maintenance Management System—Maximo. + Ensure timely corrective actions to prevent recurrence of issues and lead investigations into incidents, liaising with relevant stakeholders. + Promote adherence to company policies, guidelines, and safety protocols. + Undertake additional duties and projects as assigned based on business needs. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, or a comparable engineering degree. + Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, focusing on Risk Management, Corrosion Engineering, or Pipeline Integrity. + Strong communication skills with the ability to build relationships with stakeholders. + Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and degradation mechanisms. + Familiarity with facility siting methodologies and relevant API, ASME, CCPS, and NACE standards. + Root Cause Analysis Incident Investigation Training (preferably Comet). + Ability to travel as needed; expected travel >50%. **Preferred Qualifications:** + 8 years of integrity-related experience within the oil and gas sector. **Physical Requirements:** + Indoor and outdoor work environments. + Ability to lift up to 15 pounds. **Equipment Used:** + Computer, desk phone, multi-purpose copier/printer, and standard office supplies. + Working knowledge of API and NACE standards, including API 510, API 570, and NACE 653. **Working Conditions:** Primarily an indoor role, with fieldwork required while following safety protocols. **Why Join Us?** + **Competitive Salary:** Attractive compensation package based on experience and qualifications. + **Benefits:** Comprehensive benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. + **Professional Growth:** Opportunities for professional development and career advancement. + **Innovative Environment:** Work with cutting-edge technology and be part of a forward-thinking team.
