Asset Reliability Maintenance Planner

The Asset Reliability Maintenance Planner is responsible for coordinating repair and maintenance requests as well as scheduled preventative maintenance activities carried out by the maintenance team. This role maintains the maintenance tracking system as well as projects, materials, and kits needed to support maintenance team actions. This position creates a culture of ownership and capability at the facility and delivers results through the Work Execution Management processes, tools, and systems.

 

Responsibilities:

· Implement programs and processes to ensure that the optimal life of plant assets is achieved reducing maintenance cost machine downtime and improving equipment reliability

· Evaluate incoming work requests, develop the scope of work, and inspect job location to determine job requirements

· Validate and prioritize incoming maintenance work requests, create required task groups necessary to complete maintenance work through work orders, and maintain the integrity of equipment data in Fiix CMMS

· Train site employees on the proper use of Fiix CMMS and ensure that it is being fully utilized and working with integrity

· Determine preventative maintenance by analyzing data collected and input from Fiix on key process indicators

· Provide labor and material cost estimates as well as outside contractor service cost estimates for each work order

· Perform daily sync with supervisors/crew leads to validate incoming work requests and monitor and support the execution of work orders

· Gather relevant technical documentation such as drawings, schematics, specifications, and spare parts lists from equipment histories, OEM manuals, and the Knowledgebase system; verify the availability of parts before scheduling the job; arrange for      special tools and auxiliary equipment when required.

· Create a weekly technician schedule that includes priority planned jobs that utilize 100% of the available technician labor hours for the upcoming week

· Maintain a planned and organized ready work order backlog at or above 3 weeks of crew available capacity

· Conduct weekly scheduling meetings with production to determine work order priorities, communicate work order status, and alter planned maintenance activities if necessary

· Comply with environmental and food safety standards as set forth in plant policies and programs within the departmental responsibilities

· Engaging maintenance team across factory floor ensuring good communications and reliability tools are in place and being utilized

· Participate in a percentage of the validation of work orders

 

Minimum Skills/Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Two (2) years of experience in an industrial maintenance environment

Prior experience in asset reliability

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Proficient communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with management and skilled trades personnel

Effective planning and organizational skills, detail-oriented, and the ability to identify problems and make recommendations

Ability to travel up to 10%

 

Preferred Skills/ Qualifications

· Associate's degree in a technical field

· Previous experience with a work order database or CMMS

· Previous experience as a maintenance supervisor

 - Previous maintenance scheduling or planning experience

Compensation

The anticipated base annual salary range for this role is between $93,900 and $140,900 per year. Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate. The final salary will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate’s qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
