We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Data Scientist II to join our Asset Servicing team. This role is a hybrid work schedule (3 days a week in office) located out of New York City, NY - Lake Mary, FL office - Pittsburgh, PA office.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: 

Leads complex initiatives with direct strategic impact, while maintaining and growing cross organizational relationships to further the development of data science across the enterprise.  Establishes relationships to obtain data and subject knowledge needed to support advanced analytics by conducting studies to provide additional facts needed to make informed decisions regarding organizational and functional effectiveness with data decisioning. Develops consultative partnerships with internal teams to understand their strategic objectives, key performance indicators and reporting requirements. Extracts business insights to guide direction of learning activities and drive organizational efficiencies, effectiveness and outcomes. Stays abreast of technological innovations and trends and identifies areas of improvement across BNY and externally to academic and vendor relationships, and maintains knowledge of company's total computing environment and planned changes to develop meaningful data science products Foster cross departmental collaboration to seamlessly integrate ML and predictive analytics into core business processes

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: 

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience with experience 7+ years of experience in Data Science and/or Asset Servicing  Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus  Advanced machine learning and predictive modelling strategies from scratch, enhancing business decision making, and client experience is crucial for suceess
