Join us. **Job Description** **AECOM** is hiring an Asset Tagging Associate, to be responsible for inventory management, equipment identification and reporting at our Virginia (IAD) operations. **Responsibilities include but not limited to the following:** **Physical tagging:** + Applying asset tags to company assets, including attaching labels with barcodes, QR codes, or RFID tags to identifiable locations on each item. **Data entry:** + Recording asset details like serial numbers, descriptions, purchase dates, and locations into the asset management system. **Asset inventory management:** + Regularly conducting physical audits to verify the accuracy of asset records and identify missing or damaged assets. **Location tracking:** + Updating asset locations within the system as assets move between departments or sites. **Maintenance tracking:** + Recording maintenance activities performed on assets, including repair dates, costs, and responsible personnel. **Reporting:** + Generating reports on asset utilization, depreciation, and potential disposal needs. **Tagging system administration:** + Managing the asset tagging database, including updates to tag templates and system configurations. **Compliance checks:** + Ensuring adherence to company policies and regulations regarding asset tracking and identification. **Qualifications** **Minimum Requirements** + HS + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education **Preferred Requirements** + Associate degree in business, logistics, or a related field is a plus + Experience in inventory management, asset tracking, data entry, or logistics is a plus + Experience using asset management software or databases (preferred but not required) + Prefer some college + Construction background + Familiar with Microsoft Office **Additional Information** + Sponsorship is not available for this position + Relocation is not available for this position Offered compensation will be based on location and individual qualifications.
