OVERVIEW – Asset Validation Planner/Scheduler 

 

JLL is seeking an Asset Validation Planner/Scheduler to join our team!

This exciting opportunity is responsible for providing logistical support for deployment of engineering teams to perform asset validation services for buildings, infrastructure, and equipment assets. The purpose of this role is to develop and oversee the logistical planning and scheduling of engineering resources, coordinating with multiple accounts to ensure effective and efficient asset validation services in accordance with JLL’s enhanced Reliability & Asset Management program.   

 

Position Responsibility of ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Recognizes that assignments are broad in nature and require appreciable originality and ingenuity to complete them and considerable latitude for un-reviewed actions or decisions. 

 

 

Planning 

 

Reviews and prioritizes requests for asset validation work.  

Confers/communicates with asset validation work order requesters to detail request.  

Coordinates with account team and client representatives to understand their needs and to ensure the work schedule takes account of the downtime windows negotiated with clients, where necessary.  

Visits job sites, physically and remotely, for asset validation work scope clarification.  

Determines and arranges any operational safety requirements.  

Determines activities required for completion of asset validation work.  

Coordinates with reliability engineering/asset validation team to determine the labor resources, purchase requisitions, and external resources required for completion of the asset validation work.  

Ensure that all asset validation plans include any necessary detailed instructions for pictures, access protocol, working hours, escorts, regulatory, and safety requirements. 

Identify and develop standard work routines and task lists for asset validation.  

Review feedback information to improve future planning efforts. Circle back with the engineering teams and leads on follow up work, redeployment requirements, and improvements to the job plan for future work.  

 

 

Scheduling 

 

Creates and updates asset validation schedules.  

Coordinates and conducts scheduling meetings between account teams/clients and the asset validation team for scheduling planned asset validation activities. 

Works with the asset validation team and assigns individuals or groups of individuals as required to complete the work.  

Coordinates the asset validation work schedule to ensure the most effective use of team resources and timely completion.  

Coordinates with account team and client representatives to understand their needs and to ensure the work schedule takes account of the downtime windows negotiated with clients, where necessary.  

Creates and publishes weekly, monthly work schedules and makes them available to asset validation team members and account teams/client representatives.  

Communicate work packages to necessary individuals via the asset validation Schedule.  

Orders, tracks and ships project hardware and tags as needed to support asset validation projects. 

 

 

Workflow Management 

Maintain complete and accurate records/plans within the asset validation planning/scheduling system related to playbooks, specifications data, actuals vs plan, incident history, etc. 

Perform routine and Ad-hoc performance reporting for analysis required to manage the business. 

Develop and maintain “Key Performance Indicators" of asset validation. 

Ensure equipment history is maintained and analyzed for future trends 

Actively collaborate with Reliability Engineering and Asset Validation groups  

 

Performs other work as assigned. 

 

Experience:  

Formal project planning/scheduling training  

Preferred 5 years’ experience in project planning/scheduling. 

Computer skills and knowledge of various project planning/scheduling software 

Able to interact with all levels of the organization management, customers, outside contractors and engineers. 

 

Skills 

Proven ability to read, comprehend and apply information from technical manuals and other reference materials 

Ability to make informed recommendations in situations where data sets may be incomplete 

Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports 

Strong organization skills and ability to multi-task  

Ability to balance multiple stakeholder requirements  

Able to interpret how the organizational goals and strategy translate into service or departmental activity 

Strong Microsoft Excel skills and ability to manipulate large amounts of data accurately using different spreadsheet formats 

Ability to recognize opportunities for process improvements and assist with implementing them 

Ability to engage with client/team stakeholders at senior level 

Ability to distill large/complex challenges in a clear and concise manner 

Ability to work with team to get the job done

Certifications & Licenses:  

Certified Reliability Leader is preferred.  

Certified Maintenance Reliability Professional is preferred.  

Estimated total compensation for this position:

75,000.00 – 90,000.00 USD per year

The total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
