The Global Fixed Income and Currency team is seeking an investment grade trader at the analyst/associate level in New York. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the U.S. investment grade trading team and assist in building relationships with dealers and counterparties, ensure trade integrity, and provide analysis and feedback on portfolio construction. In addition to its trading responsibilities, the role will also include considerable interaction with operations and technology support.
HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL
Allocate, execute, and reconcile tradesMaintain and rebalance portfolios across strategies Work with technology and strat teams to increase automation, improve quality of data, and create new trading toolsLiase with operations on a daily basis to resolve any trading issuesUpdate and maintain reports for weekly/bi-weekly strategy meetings
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Experience in relevant marketsAn understanding of markets and a keen interest in fixed income and creditMust possess quantitative and analytical skills with a strong attention to detailExcellent communication skillsStrong work ethicAsset management experience an advantage, but not essential

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
