Responsibilities: 

AWM Private Credit Group is seeking an associate that will be an integral member of the BDC Management Team supporting the CFO/COO of the platform spanning over the following areas:

Build financial models to forecast earnings and for scenario analysisFocus on management of the liability side of the balance sheet and financing initiativesCollaborate with technology and engineering teams to enhance workflowsParticipate in business strategy planningEvaluate new business opportunities for the platformWork closely with senior management and product specialists to develop portfolio metrics to manage portfolio risk, exposure, and performanceTrack and analyze the pipeline of fund investments, individual portfolio company performance and financial informationPrepare and maintain portfolio analytics, fund analytics and competitor information for financial and investor reporting, marketing, portfolio management, and Board reporting purposesPerform special analysis in response to market events and present to senior management regularlyCoordinate with both internal and external counterparties on strategic projects regarding investment workflow, portfolio management, portfolio monitoring and financial management

Qualifications:

3-5 years prior work experience; minimum Bachelor s degree (U. S. or equivalent) in quantitatively-related fieldsExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalAbility to work independently with the willingness to consistently think outside of the boxHighly organized and proven ability to execute and manage complex logistics, projects, and tasks under tight time constraintsStrong analytical/logical mindset and attention to detail; extensive experience working with large sets of data is preferredFluency required in Excel (VBA knowledge a plus), PowerPoint and WordAccounting knowledge and financial modeling aptitude

Salary Range
The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$170000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
