Alternatives Cross Asset Coverage (ACAC) is a global alternatives sales team that partners with 100+ alternative investment product specialists across more than 10 offices, including New York, London, Hong Kong, and Bengaluru. The team is responsible for GS Alternatives fundraising across private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, growth equity, sustainability, secondaries, hedge funds, and liquid alternatives strategies. 

Team members work within their respective product verticals and collaborate across strategies to identify portfolio-wide client solutions. They also partner with asset management investing, institutional client coverage, and wealth management teams. Professional development initiatives provide opportunities to enhance expertise across all alternatives investment products and to sharpen market knowledge from industry experts investing across the Firm.

ACAC is seeking an associate to join the global commercial strategy team, which is responsible for fundraising campaign design and management, product prioritization and client strategy across GS Alternatives in APAC. 

Responsibilities

Support global alternatives fundraising campaign management across all aspects from product launch to post-close analysisPartner with product and regional APAC teams to plan and execute client roadshowsWork closely with the EMEA and Americas commercial strategy teams to drive strategic projects Work closely with the EMEA and Americas commercial strategy teams to ensure close coordination and execution across each regionDrive central updates across the business including writing weekly update emails, managing global fundraising calendar, and maintaining website content and updatesConduct competitive analyses and keep pulse on industry trendsBuild internal strategy presentations and materials for senior leadershipWork closely with global product specialists across ACF to identify and implement best practices across each product vertical Work closely with product and sales teams to ensure integrity of Salesforce dataPartner with AWM Marketing to execute client events and conferences 

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of prior work experienceStrong written and verbal communication skills Self-starter, with ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment and across group functionsTeam player, with excellent interpersonal skills and good judgmentHigh degree of intellectual curiosity on alternatives investments and private marketsFlexibility to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressureStrong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detail, with proven experience of delivering high quality work productAdvanced facility with Excel and PowerPointPrior Investment Banking or Capital Markets experience is an asset.
