Goldman Sachs Asset Management’s seeking a Client Portfolio Manager based in Hong Kong or Singapore to join the global client portfolio management team to provide investment solutions to meet each client’s individual investment objectives and considerations. The coverage of this role will be GSAM’s fixed income strategies, including global multi sector fixed income strategies global investment grade strategies, global rates strategies and global credit strategies among others across Asia Pacific ex Japan (“APEJ”).
Responsibilities
Servicing existing client base, regular client engagement and initiating and driving new business initiativesCreate and author customized client specific written and presentation content, including both regular reporting as well as ad-hoc client requests
Drive new business opportunities, liaising with product development and sales, completion of request-for-proposal documentation in addition to providing broad support to Sales and Client Relationship Management teamsSynthesize and communicate investment philosophy, process, product positioning and current market trends to current and prospective clientsCollaborate with clients on topics including asset allocation, investment guidelines, risk budgeting, and portfolio optimization Partner with distribution and operational teams within the organization to optimize client experience and portfolio management Drive new business initiatives, liaising with product development and sales, completion of request-for-proposal documentation in addition to providing broad support to Sales and Client Relationship Management teamsMaintain and expand existing client relationships through communication of relevant market / portfolio information and opportunities by leading periodic portfolio reviewsWork closely with Head of APEJ Global Fixed Income and Global Client Portfolio management teams on content creation, presentation creation and client interactions
Experience
5+ years of work experience in fixed income, related to global multi-sector, global investment grade, global credit, rates and FX.Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and excellent follow-through Understanding of Asian client needsStrong knowledge of buy-side fixed income portfolio management Exceptional written and oral communication skills Positive attitude and strong work ethic Strong interpersonal skills: Ability to build trust and confidence of colleagues, strengthen relationships through ongoing dialog and interactions, and collaborate with broad range of stakeholdersExperience working within a fast-paced environment collaborating across time-zonesWillingness and ability to undertake international and domestic travelStrong skills in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and BloombergABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS
