Fixed Income & Liquidity Solutions Overview

Fixed Income and Liquidity Solutions, within Public Investing, manages more than $1.7 trillion* in assets for a variety of clients, including private wealth mandates and institutional clients such as insurance companies, pension funds, and endowments. The team has a long history of investing across public fixed income strategies including rates, currency and credit on behalf of our clients. Investment ideas are created through collaboration between portfolio managers, research analysts, and traders.

 

Role Overview

The Securitised Investment team is seeking an analyst in Securitised Credit.  The team manages over $102 billion* in Securitised assets across the global fixed income platform, with over $40 billion* in Securitised Credit assets. The successful candidate will be an integral part of the team in The Hague, gaining exposure to the global ABS, CMBS, CLO, RMBS, and Covered Bond markets. As such, a general understanding of and any experience in these sectors is preferred though not a requirement. The candidate should evidence the ability to excel in a team environment.  The role places an emphasis on supporting the team’s portfolio management efforts with a strong focus on enhancing investment processes, conducting credit analysis, and supporting client reporting. 

 

Responsibilities

Work within the portfolio management team to optimize portfolio construction, contribute to security selection, and monitor risk in portfoliosWork with portfolio management team to help complete and enhance processes around client reporting requirementsConduct security selection and market surveillanceMaintain and improve various investment tools and the accuracy of the data they employWork with technology and strategist teams to increase automation, improve quality of data, and create new tools for use in investment processUpdate and maintain reports for weekly strategy meetings

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degreeStrong quantitative and analytical skills, with excellent attention to detailInterest in fixed income marketsHighly motivated with the ability to work independently as well as thrive in a fast-paced team environmentCuriosity, strong critical thinking skills, and passion for problem-solvingExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications

0.5-2 years of investment management or sell-side experience desirableCFA studyMaster’s degree
