JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The position of Client Onboarding Associate in Shareholder Services is ideal for someone who is interested in learning all the requirements for new clients to invest in various Goldman Sachs Asset Management products (e.g. mutual funds, alternative investments, separately managed accounts) and streamlining the process with a client service mindset. To successfully onboard client relationships, this role involves communication and coordination across many internal teams, such as Tax, Legal, Compliance, Sales and Service. This position requires adhering to laws and regulations, a thorough understanding of a client service/onboarding environment, and an in-depth knowledge of the industry, our client base, and our systems.

Lead complex and high-priority projects, and manage sponsors and stakeholders with competing priorities, resourcing levels and time constraints across all typical project phases:Project initiation and scoping, including definition of plans and setting and managing realistic expectations for successful delivery with project stakeholdersBusiness analysis and requirements definitionTesting and implementation, in particular user acceptance testingOngoing project management and quality assurance throughout the projectBuild and manage relationships with key project stakeholders in Operations, Engineering and BusinessAssess and streamline Operations’ processes in order to mitigate risk or control issues and generate efficienciesProvide support and advice to Operations management and project teams on project management tools and methods

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

3+ years of professional experience3+ years of project management experienceBe highly collaborative and strong consensus builderDemonstrate effective communication and interpersonal skills both written and oralProficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPointExperience in vendor relationship managementBachelor’s degree required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Ability to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environmentAbility to contribute as an individual contributor in a cross team working groupAccuracy, attention to detail and strong organizational skillsStrong analytical and project management skillsGood understanding of the financial industryCompliance and/or regulatory experience a plus, not required
