Within the Global Marketing function sits the Asset Management Marketing team, responsible for end-to-end marketing strategies and programs for the entirety of the business. Marketing helps shape the Goldman Sachs Asset Management brand and protect and grow the business’s reputation. They create and deliver targeted, integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels, paid media and in-person experiences, which broaden our client footprint, deepen relationships with clients, diversify our asset base, and fuel business growth.   

Role Summary

We are seeking a seasoned leader to take on the role of Vice President, Seismic Publishing Operations for the Asset Management business.  In this role, you will lead our platform rollout, driving sales effectiveness, improving content and data quality, and increasing scale.  The role will require hands-on platform administration, program leadership, and team management as we expand across users and regions.  The candidate will need to excel in three unique areas: investment publishing processes, technical platform expertise, and effective team management. 

The Vice President will partner with Investing, Sales, Compliance, Product, and Marketing leads to establish effective content creation processes and efficient distribution of material for our client-facing teams. Create and share usage reporting for materials across teams, using information to inform marketing content effectiveness and project roadmap. Direct development, testing, and maintenance within working team, vendor-supplied resources, and business partners.

Position Responsibilities
 

Platform Administration and Management: Build and enable marketing collateral in Seismic, using LiveDocs technology, static materials, and Seismic Pages. Identify patterns through user insights to improve process and user experience. Training and End-User Support: Lead training plans for process/platform releases. Assist content administrators and end-users with any user support needs.  Summarize issues into improvement opportunities Content Publishing Process: Improve controls, integrate with compliance data/system, and manage content expiration/alerts. Lead roadmap of content, disclosure, and data automation. Manage and maintain related process documentationBuild, Maintain, and Improve: Lead platform capabilities expansion with LiveSend, Mobile/iPad interface, CRM/Outlook integration.Team Manager: Lead a small, emerging team of Seismic platform administrator to improve process, controls, and sales effectiveness. Lead and direct work across internal teams and vendor resources.  Internal Partner: Lead an emerging function with a partnership mentality across business, technology, and vendor. Gather feedback and develop formal requirements to drive process and technology improvement roadmapSeek Value-Add Opportunities: Constantly raise tactical and strategic improvement opportunities to drive value across the firm

Qualifications

Required

5+ years’ experience in Financial Services with a global asset manager

OR

3+ years using Seismic (or equivalent content automation technology) Experience managing people in a content production or other marketing/operating teamsDemonstrated experience in delivering process improvements with measurable resultsUnderstanding of structured data, including XML and CSVPrior experience liaising with both product and marketing functionsAbility to present ideas in a thoughtful and well-reasoned manner, synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a clear, compelling story Ability to work at varying speeds and under timeframe pressure, while maintaining extremely high standards
