The Strategy team manages mission-critical projects ranging from developing growth strategies, to assessing and planning entry into new markets, to implementing organizational restructurings and operational efficiencies, and more. Projects are typically team-based and include close collaboration with senior executives.
As an Asset Wealth Management Strategy, Associate within the Asset and Wealth Management Strategy team, you will play a pivotal role in propelling key projects. Your responsibilities will include conducting and managing detailed analyses, and creating comprehensive presentations related to strategic planning, business enhancement, and optimization. You will also participate in various internal consulting initiatives. You will collaborate closely with senior team members in conducting analysis and research, and work extensively with other colleagues across Asset and Wealth Management, including investment professionals, client advisors/market managers, and functional teams. This role offers you the chance to formulate and present recommendations to senior leadership and engage in regular interactions with senior management.
Job Responsibilities:
Develop the strategic priorities for the AWM line of business, serving as an objective thought partner to the C-Suite and other senior leaders Collaborate with teams across LOBs and functional areas (e.g., data science, finance, product, marketing) structure and build quantitative and qualitative analyses Analyze operational and financial data Research and analyze industry landscape to evaluate new opportunities and identify emerging trends Support creation of CEO-level executive communicationsRequired Qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
3+ years in consulting with a top-tier management consulting firm or an internal consulting / corporate strategy team, or equivalent experience Ability to provide structure in ambiguous situations and apply analytical tools to develop solutions Strong client management and executive-level communication skills Open, collaborative, team-oriented operating style BA/BS requiredPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Financial services background (and especially asset & wealth management) preferred, but not mandatory Experience applying data analysis to solve business problems in fast-moving environment
