Assistant, Home Care & Hospice

Summary

Provides a variety of administrative duties while supporting the Home Care and Hospice Programs. Provides routine and specific administrative services to the department director, manager, and other departmental colleagues as needed.   Responsible for data entry, front desk operations, report generation, physician order tracking, and par level stock of patient and office supplies. Maintains and distributes information related to patient care as required in the medical record.

Prioritizes and performs the assigned duties to meet the routine and emergency needs of the staff members.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education: High school graduate or the equivalent. Preferred Education: Business or Junior College secretarial/clerical training preferred. Minimum Experience: Must have 3 years secretarial/clerical experience.  Previous use of spreadsheet software is essential.
