Assistant Account Manager

The Assistant Account Manager will be part of the Travel Unit Account Management team for a key airline customer in North America.  This role manages two critical operational domains. 

The Assistant Account Manager is responsible for providing administrative support and management assistance to the VP, Account Management, promoting effective collaboration across teams, and coordinating meetings and events.  This role will manage financials for the Account Management team, including billing, monthly reporting and audit, salesforce management, and contract documentation and conveyance.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is very motivated, detail-oriented and can work effectively across teams.

In this role You’ll:

Administrative responsibilities

Manage calendars, coordinating with other Assistants, as needed, to drive efficiency and readiness

Provide administrative support, such as managing building visitors, supporting travel planning and expenses, onboarding new hires, and managing systems access

Communicate and orchestrate support for projects and partner collaborations

Plan and coordinate events

Celebrate team and partner successes

Financial responsibilities:

Own the billing process, which includes accounts receivable and payable statements audit, Salesforce management, and detailed reporting

Manage Salesforce billing processes, and work with partner Accounting teams to ensure accurate and timely statements

Support budget planning and review

Orchestrate Contracts, Change Proposals, and Change Requests and track legal documents

About the ideal candidate:

Bachelor’s degree and or/equivalent work experience.

+3 years of experience in billing and/or finance

+3 years of experience in administrative support

Advanced MS Office Suite skills to include: Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (V-lookup, pivot tables) & Teams experience

Share point experience required.

Strong organizational skills

Strong written & verbal communication skills

Must be detail oriented with the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment 

Experience liaising with partners and building relationships

Must be able to work hybrid work model, the position will be located in Dallas

Airline industry knowledge preferred

Proficiency in Salesforce preferred

Project management experience preferred

Previous experience working in an IT company preferred but not required
