About the Opportunity

Are you ready to embark on an exciting one-year journey with us? We are looking for our new Assistant Accountant to join the team on a fixed-term contract. In this role, you will be a vital part of our finance team, providing essential support in finance, accounting, and transactional services as we undertake transformative projects. Your responsibilities will span across various areas, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounting, Reporting, and Compliance. You will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all tasks performed, contributing to the seamless operation of our finance department.

Your role

You will be in charge of: 

Process rent, store planning, and general expense invoices. Handle payment clearing, bank reconciliation, and supplier inquiries. Maintain AP best practices and compliance. Provide LSL cover for AR officer and handle order-to-cash reconciliation. Support wire transfers for retail stores and private clients. Prepare and clean up customer master data for the GOLD project. Assist with accounting master data clean-up and subledger migration. Perform monthly intercompany reconciliation and maintain the Fixed Asset Register. Maintain IFRS16 leases and fulfill related group reporting requirements. Prepare month-end balance sheet reconciliation and other internal control reports

Ideal candidate

Degree in accounting or finance  3 years’ experience of accounting industry preferred  Strong written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English) Strong excel skills.
