About the Role (Maternity support – 1 year contract):
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join our team in Singapore. You will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations, reporting to the Director, Finance Operations.
Responsibilities:
· Maintain accurate financial records of trial balance.
· Manage the month end and year end close activities (experience in TravCom and HFM knowledge is preferred).
· Work with shared services team to review month end close, reconciliations, intercompany transactions, and invoicing on client settlement.
· Assist in the preparation and filing of GST returns and ensure compliance with all GST regulations and reporting requirements.
· Prepare the monthly sales and volume reports by clients.
· Prepare monthly and quarterly client settlements for key customers.
· Work with shared services team in the preparation of manual billing for intercompany transactions and key customers.
· Provide monthly or quarterly transaction counts for clients and partners.
· Support statutory audit and work with auditors to complete the audit.
· Perform cost allocation calculation for operating expenses and key clients.
· Support adhoc tasks or projects.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (e.g., Finance).
· Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting role.
· Strong understanding of Singapore tax regulations.
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
· Strong attention to detail, meticulous with a hands-on approach.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Prior experience of working in a multinational environment.
