Assistant Accounting Manager
Work with this multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company! This team is looking for an Assistant Accounting Manager to support their year end! Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or any other related field of study 4+ years of accounting experience required Experience in month end including: journal entries, accruals, prepaids, and reconciliations Description: Participate in various aspects of the monthly/quarterly closing process including the preparation of journal entries and account reconciliations. Assist with the consolidation process of multiple subsidiaries including intercompany reconciliation and foreign currency accounting. Assist in the preparation and timely filing of reports required with the SEC, including reports on 10-Q, 10-K and other filings. Produce clear and organized work papers that adequately support the Company’s SEC filings. Assist with year-end audits. Perform special projects as needed. Assist the Accounting Manager with managing month-end close activities, preparation of quarterly consolidated financial statements, assisting with interim and year-end audits, and training new and existing staff as needed.
