We are so glad you are interested in joining Sutter Health! **Organization:** SMCS-Sutter Med Center - Sacramento **Position Overview:** Sutter Medical Center, Sacramento is the foundation of Sutter Health, Northern California's largest health network with 29 acute care hospitals, more than 5,000 primary care physicians and specialists, home health, occupational health, psychiatric care and more. The downtown Sacramento medical center is made up of several facilities that include Ose Adams Medical Pavilion, Anderson Lucchetti Women's & Children's Center, and Sutter Center for Psychiatry. Ose Adams Medical Pavilion The 281-bed specialty medical center focuses on general acute medical/surgical care as well as a medical base to advanced services for cancer, orthopedics, spine, and neurology, and neurosurgery. Anderson Lucchetti Women's & Children's Center The 242-bed specialty medical center focuses on women's and children's specialty services and includes medical intensive care units for cardiac and neurological patients. Provides leadership and vision to the organization, by aligning patient, physician, staff, and community needs with the overall mission and strategy of the assigned affiliate and Sutter Health. Has responsibility and oversight over all operations in the Ancillary Departments. Oversees Support Service operations and leads/serves on various hospital wide committees to drive improvement and execution of the assigned affiliate and Sutter Health dashboard. Oversees management agreements of various services and will require effective employee and media staff relations while promoting positive community interface and relationships. Accountable for quality, program development, inpatient and outpatient growth, physician recruitment, and operations management improvement for all areas assigned and for the overall Hospital. Participates in and make recommendations on strategies for quality, growth, technology, recruitment, and strategic positioning as a representative of the assigned affiliate within the respective operating unit for all areas assigned. This will entail working closely with the operating unit support staff, physicans, the local hosptial leadership, the Medical Foundation and physician leadership.
