Assistant Administrator - Tax
**The Team** We are seeking a Tax Administrative Assistant to join American Tower’s Corporate Tax organization. The Tax Administrative Assistant is involved in processing invoices, tracking contracts and budgets, submitting expense reports, sorting mail, following up with local tax authorities regarding tax notices, managing our Tax Operations Management System, preparing tax returns and filings and other tax-related projects. **What You Need to Succeed** + Bachelor’s degree required. + Between 1–3 years’ experience in corporate environment. + Experience with Microsoft Office applications. + Able to learn new tools and technologies for process and system improvements. + Strong follow-up skills: ability to organize applicable timelines and follow up with internal and external customer needs. + Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and suggestions clearly and effectively. + Ability to work with different functional groups and levels of employees to effectively and professionally achieve results. + Strong organizational skills: ability to accomplish multiple tasks within the agreed upon timeframes through effective prioritization of duties and functions in a fast-paced environment. **What You Can Offer Us•** + Process invoices and expenses and reconcile to the yearly budget using Excel. + Open and sort mail, scan into Sharepoint and share with Tax team. + Assist with responding to inquiries from tax authorities in connection to tax notices. + Manage the customized Sharepoint site used by the Tax Department. + Prepare single member LLC tax returns, other returns, and certain international filings. + Process and manage check requests for tax filings and notices. + Mail required tax returns and related filings with certified receipts. + Other duties as assigned.
