The selected candidate will contribute to the department’s mission to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of biostatisticians, epidemiologists, and clinicians at UTHealth Houston through research, teaching, and other services. **Position Key Accountabilities:** Key responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: 1) Collaboration and consultation with faculty on study design and analytic methods for research proposalsand current research projects; 2) Teaching biostatistics to clinicians and health researchers; 3) Preparation of grants, reports, and manuscripts. A cross-appointment in theBiostatistics and Data ScienceandEpidemiologydepartments atUTHealth Houston School of Public Healthmay be considered. **Qualifications:** Qualified applicants must have by the time a job offer is made a PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Bioinformatics, and demonstrate a commitment to excellence in research, education, and service, and have potential to be outstanding in their field of expertise, and share an interest in fulfilling the common goals of McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Qualified candidates should have experience with writing, editing, and submitting NIH-style grants.
